Marshall Nissan (Cambridge): £1,068 Westover Nissan (Bournemouth): £968 Westway Nissan (Oxford): £965.87 These are bottom line prices and assume they dont find any other problems! -------------------- 62/176 Ultra Yellow GT4 350Z - Muttley

£120 per hour labour is bull*hi* and those prices do not include any discount on parts.
I got the Labour down to £60 / hour at Oxford so the 12000 mile service was £290. Some people have paid around £540! Would be interesting to talk to Litchfields as they really know there stuff. -------------------- No 1 GT-R Black Black from Marshalls

Assuming that the GT-R is still in the 3 year warrentee period and this is with a min dealer. Have you considered options beyond 3 years and doing the work outside of the main dealer route?? If so what are the potential options???? -------------------- Its Official

!8,000 done at Westover Nissan (Sorry Mark - fear of Warranty issues still driving me at the moment!)
First time there for servicing and I'd say a competent team with a friendly technician, Darren. Work was done within timescale (see seperate thread for extra work carried out) and we had a 370Z Auto for the day to wander round in as per the original GT-R sales promises. Only additional work was a set of front brake pads but I suppose at 18k miles thats to be expected. -------------------- 62/176 Ultra Yellow GT4 350Z - Muttley

SO are you tempted to get a 370Z to complete the collection? Two cars is enough so I'd have to trade one in - a day with a 370 hasnt changed my view since my original test drive - and I'm not keen on the Auto box.... My logic says if I want more performance than my 350 I drive the GT-R. If i want traditional, RWD, manual driving, I drive the 350 and the the 370 isnt different enough to make me trade-in Muttley! Yep, Darren at Westovers is a good guy
Plenty of choice outside the dealer network for service, although I am going to stick with Middlehurst. |

I heard from somewhere that the warranty was void if the car wasn't serviced by dealer - for mainstream cars this was ruled illegal a couple of years ago and you could go elsewhere providing OEM parts were used - but is this true of the GT-R? -------------------- ![]() 19" Axis Hiro - Japspeed K1 - JWT Clutch and Flywheel - JWT Induction kit + carbon duct - HKS De-limiter - Eibach Pro 20mm spacers - LED reflectors Chassis No: Z33000006 - 6th 350Z made! |

I'm sure its true but I've stuck with Nissan because I dont want to get in the argument if something goes wrong on a car that is this complicated.... besides, it will also count if I trade it in later....

18,000 miles service prices are coming down.
Middlehursts are now doing it for £627 Litchfields (Independant) are £451. Bournemouth and Slough will go down to £800 with a bit of negotiation while Cambridge can do £979 -------------------- No 1 GT-R Black Black from Marshalls
