Marshall Nissan Cambridge, for me - I got a nice new Zed, a discount and other sweeteners, parts expertly fitted, excellent customer service, table football and a luvly bouquet of flowers for the missus (it helped!!) and generally lovely warm feelings
 So they get my vote, although Glyn Hopkin Watford - Service department - comes a very close second, as they were very good to me when I had the old Zed. So Marshall's take one step closer to where they should actually be..... -1 for Arnold Clark, Liverpool. When I bought the car just under 2 years ago I took out a servicing plan for 2 years or 36k miles scheduled servicing. Dropped the car off this morning but later got a phonecall to say I'd have to pay for the service as I am only allowed 2 maximum. Went home and checked out the docs I got with the car and no mention of a maximum number. Took them in and asked the service girl to show me where there was reference to a maximum number of services. She couldn't and the service manager told her to contact "them" and run it through again. 10 mins later I was told that "they" would pay. Picked up the car, unwashed as usual.
PS The showroom was hilarious - all bar three of the new cars had been put outside and inside were bumper to bumper used cars, not Nissans but Rovers, Minis, etc. The poor old brand new Qashqai was tucked away in a back corner where no-one would see it. Not really the picture you would expect to see when going in to buy a £30k Zed or Murano. Seems they're content to be a car supermarket that sells a few new Nissans...... -------------------- DIGSY

Let me be more specific about Rowstock Reading:
Negotiated £1240 discount +1 Original Manager very helpful +1 3 different managers in 5 months -1 Scraped rays -1 Scratched sill covers -1 Scratched windscreen (which they blamed me for) -1 Paint blown off the parking sensors and offered to touch up not respray -1 Was not cleaned at all with dirt under the mats. -1 No phone connector ordered let alone fitted and didnt notice -1 Tried to fill it with normal petrol because its good for Volvos -1 None of the accessories I ordered were fitted -1 They tried to charge me for the £1240 Discount I negotiated with the original manager on the day I picked it up and had to prove to them in writing they were talking b****ks. -1 4 attempts at getting the phone cradle fitted -1 Service manager took pity and gave me a model Z +1 Thats -8 total. -------------------- No 1 GT-R Black Black from Marshalls
