Guys

Having actually broken our duck now, thought we could try and get another date in the diary for next month or two.

Suggest Sunday March 25 or Sunday 1 April

Could do a location a bit further SW for our Cornish brethren ..and those of us coming from oop North of the region could always convoy down the M5 for a laugh.

Starter for 10 from moi on locations:

Exeter way - Nobody Inn on Haldon - nearly the world's coolest pub
Dartmoor (boo to 40mph limit all over now ) The Old Inn Widecombe-in -the moor

Castle Drogo as great photo backdrop if the NT would let us park up in front (will contact them if anyone likes this idea?) before or after a genteel drive across the moors

So who's up for it and preference on locations or other suggestions

Either date is ok for me - as for the location - I'm easy (but that's another story) , so long as its warmer than the last one.

Awaiting reply from Castle Drogo re using them as a meeting/end venue (and use of t'Tea rooms)...and possible photo opportunity.

Depending on whether we start or finish there, probably go for a run across the centre of the moor and then back on ourselves to Widecombe, then Bovey Tracy for ease of access to A38 for those heading north or south, or do it in reverse (if that makes sense?).

So who is definately still around for this on Sun am?

Response rec'd re parking up in front for some photos......maintenance going on = no access to that bit

Will get on the PMs tomorrow to see who else is coming (there is no hiding ) and ring Neil, and then final arrangements.

Will post up Sat afternoon.

What's happened to all the SW folks who moaned we didn't do anything - twice in 2 months - 1 North and one South in region..not sure what we try next

Might be easier to start a list of SW site users and Members who aren't into meeting up , or would if we held therm in a particular area ....all suggestions and views on this welcome, was the timing just not goo because of being on hols the week before Easter etc

A run out across Dartmoor is always a good one, so this one won't get burned completely, and we will try and rearrange for 3/4 weekend of April (outside hols but before JapFest which I hope everyone in the SW will be able to attend )
