on the verge of swapping from a single turbo supra to a 350Z and am interested in seeing what a FI Z is like as it`s the route I`m looking to take my Z soon after purchase.

hoping someone localish wouldn`t mind sparing a bit of time to let me take a look at your Z and it`s setup and ask a few questions.. :)

cheers

I am in the West Mids area and have the APS TT on mine.
What sort of output are you looking at? / What output is the Supra?

sounds good, I`m looking for 400+ rwhp with my Z

my supra is running 500+rwhp with a small single turbo

driven a few 350`s and love them but fancy a little more power than stock

cheers

There are a few of us on here that have the APS-TT setup. Initially there were a few that unfortunately let go. The stock internals on the VQ-35 are not the strongest and the APS-TT can easily push the limit if not done by someone who knows there stuff with a proper tune. If you want 400+ hp at the wheels on this engine you will ideally need to get it built.

WRC-Technology @ Silverstone did mine and have done several of these now, no failures so far and I have to say they have looked after me extremely well. Mine was mapped to 400fwhp/400lbft. This seems about the safe limit with a stock motor. If you get the motor built though the potential is much much greater - not cheap!

thanks for all the info, I`ll drop WRC tech a mail and see what options they can offer me.

currently pricing up engine build options, but tbh ~400 rwhp should be plenty using the APS kit on stock internals.

these things never are cheap ( to do properly ) when you add on everything else needed like Boost controllers/ Gauges/ Ecu`s/ Clutches etc etc

Totted up the cost of the mods on my supra and it was over £20k! still averaged out over almost 10 years of ownership isn`t too bad ( I keep telling myself  )

thanks again
