Hi Folks,
as some of you know i'm a new Zed owner.
I've got 25K on the clock and the car was last serviced at 18.5K, so i've got one coming up at around 27K.
I've a few questions...
1: who should i look to get this done by? (based in Kildare and work in Dublin)
2: how much should i expect to pay?
3. what should i or shouldn't i get done service wise?
Cheers guys!!
Dave

Just had my 27k service done by Windsor Nissan in Cork city recently. My Zed originated from Windsor Nissan in Bray so i felt it only right to keep it in the family.
Anyway, they tried to get me to regas (or something like that) the air con during the service, i said no as i felt their was no issues with the air con and there still isn't. They also recommended i change the brake fluid and pads, i agreed to the fluid as it wasn't too costly but refused the 300 euro price for the new pads. Since then i have found out the pads are only half worn
So all in I had a full service (oil change, etc) and brake fluid change for 245 euro. I was happy with that and the car has been perfect for the 1000 miles i have clocked up since then.
I can't advise you on where to go to service the car as i'm a southern man and have no idea about the Leinster area.
Try and find a dealer who has experience with Zeds, as ya know Zeds are very expensive in Ireland due to VRT Tax so not many of them exist over here. Fiacre did tell me before that Windsor Nissan in Bray were excellent to deal with and got his (now mine) Zed serviced there.
Cheers,
Pete.

Hi Dave,
As Peter mentioned, I bought from Winsor Bray & they were very good but can also vouch for Hutton & Meade as I got my last service done there. They have experience with 350s & were competitively priced. (Jonathan Meade is one of the main men I dealt with) Good luck!
