Managed to pick up a nasty passenger today, looks like i'll need to get replacements on the front.

Wondered if any of you guys could recommend anywhere in the B'ham area.

Thanks.

That's nasty  I bet you could feel it too.

Can't you get that repaired rather than fork out for a new tyre? It's not like it's in the sidewall or even close.

As Damo said, looks repairable.

As the tyre appears to still be fully inflated the bolt may not have penetrated that far into the tyre, therefore I'd say you should be able to get it repaired.

If it were on my Z, I'd pull/twist the bolt out and see what the damage is (marking around the hole with crayon or chalk, so you can easily find it again). However, I'd only do this because I have another car into which I could transport the wheel to a tyre fitter if it did go flat upon removing the bolt.

Yes, I am a miserable bugger. But that's your problem, not mine.

Anything I post may be complete b****ks. Especially after whisky consumption. Don't say I didn't warn you.

tyre repairers are only allowed to repair a tyre with up to 1/4 inch of damage , that bolt looks bigger than that, I wouldnt risk it on a performance car..especially on a front wheel .. chuck the tyre away and get new, you cant put a price on safety

Don't leave the Zed on the jack. Put the space-saver on or at least use axle stands

Better safe than sorry ;)

I have used Blackcircles a few times now. Get the OC discount and have them fitted at a local fitter to you.
I used a mobile fitter the first time, then had them fitted in Coventry the 2nd time.
Definately recommend them for good prices.
