Anyone up for a convoy from the South West up to the National. Would want to get to Kettering at about 6ish on the Friday - would anyone be able to make that?
Proposed route:
M5/M4 to Swindon
A419 to A420
A420 to A415 to Abingdon (to pick Al up)
A34 to M40 / Weston on the Green shortcut
A43/45 to Wellingborough
A509 to Kettering

The Zed has gone! After 7 years of 350Z Ownership including having owned 2 of them, I've now got a Vauxhall...
(It is a VXR8 Bathurst S with 580bhp though :) )
The Zed will be missed though - superb car, never missed a beat!

(It is a VXR8 Bathurst S with 580bhp though :) )

We may be heading up slightly later 
..suspect leaving WSM may not be much before 5:30pm.........which is about an 8:00pm* strike on Kettering.
Guys assume not if you want to get there at a reasonable time, so sort out your timings, and route if we can hook up we certainly will

I will also have to wait until about 6ish before I can leave due to work.
I have been the Kettering a few times recently and depending on how legal you stay journey should be about 2-2 1/2 hours.

I've got the Friday off - so can leave anytime, happy to meet up anywhere along the M5/M4 corridor.
M5/M42/M6 was the route we took last year - maybe longer distance but from this neck of the woods def the quickest providing there are no jams..... and my memory is worse than yours Jez - I'm older.
