Been discussing a meet in Scotland with a few members. OK I am not from Scotland but really fancy a drive out and meet up there. Just wanting to see if there is much interest.

I know you are spoilt for choice up there when looking for roads/venues.

Hoping to get members from south of the border up there too for a weekend.

Any takers provisionally?

I would be interested if not working.

Is Gus still around as he would normally be up for a meet.

I think this one will be in spring time 08. I am trying to plan a route with some help. More details will follow in the new year. Glad to see people making the effort to travel.

Hey guys
I'd be up for that!
If you need any help with routes I'm happy to make a few suggestions.
West coast A82 & A87 (if you want to go that far!) are classic.
East coast is all about the A93 and surrounding roads.
A85 in between quite nice too.

I'll give you the full speel.

Introducing the Jockland Hoon!

A drive out in Scotland taking in some of the finest scenery the UK has to offer!

The plan (still to be finalised) is to take in the legendary Applecross Pass among some other great roads. The highlights will be the scenery, the technical twisties and the long straights! There will be photo stops and lunch out too.

Something for everyone!

If the other half isn't content with this then make a weekend of it and take her shopping in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. The route will be close enough to commute to either afterwards! Or perhaps a distillery tour for the whisky lovers amongst you!

We'll start a list when the date is confirmed but should be around July-September sometime.
