Glasgow Square, Strathclyde Park, Sauchehall St. Pedestrian Precinct, Braehead, M8 on a quiet evening
Or if you have a run up to Perth we have a wonderful lamp standard free car park at our local Tescos. Asda aint that bad either.
Seriously tho, Knockhill have a holding area that is regularly used for such activities and you could practice your drifting at the same time .

You can use this particular holding area most times that there is not a meet on. If you do not know any of the staff there then it may be difficult for you to gain permission.
KRC is open 7 days a week.
If you don't have any contacts there, then give me a shout when you are planning to come over and I will get you on for an hour.
As regards cost: A tank of fuel and a set of tyres should do the trick, oh! and a beer for me.
