As May is a long way off and we seem to be a very active little segment of the country I am proposing a mini meet at the end of Feb or early March.
What I propose is this:
OPTION 1. A Sunday meeting around 1100 somewhere starting off with a nice drive on a route carefully picked to enjoy some great scenery and roads. Then we congregate at a nice pub and have Sunday lunch.

OPTION 2. An evening meet up with a nice meal and a good old chinwag

I get back for my Feb/ March leave on the 22nd of Feb and go back on the 6th of March so if anyone is available during this time and fancies doing it then please let me know which meet you would prefer and what dates you are available. I wont set a venue until we see what people would prefer to do and it will also depend on who is coming and where they live to make life easier on all attendees in terms of travel.

Nice one Bobby but which Sunday would you prefer or will any be ok?

Both sundays are good for me!

Where is Mike (350Doc) he normaly responds pretty quick when food is mentioned on the OC his post filter must not be working!!

Would like to join in but Sundays aren't the best day. Evening meet would be better. Friday/Saturday either week good for us and would happily meet anywhere that is good for everyone else. Also where is Chubbs, he normally responds quick too, but he has been very quiet lately???

assuming work lets me have a weekend off in the first few months of '08.. and if you guys let a turncoat tag along (slowly) behind (very slowly compared to Smoky) in a non-Nissan.. I'd be up to see some old faces again

end of Feb is definitely out for me (at the moment), but if it's early March (assuming the latest project doesn't get delayed) then it'd be cool )

I think reading the story so far, its looking like its going to be a Sunday meet on the 2nd of March, but obviously wee need to see who else is interested and their availability before this goes concrete.

Sorry guys but it looks like the majority want the Sunday
However its early days and nothing is set in stone yet so once we have a few more takers I will suggest your option.
It just starts getting a bit complicated if I ask everyone to say if they could make Fri/ Sat OR Sunday.
Better to suggest Sunday, get definate numbers then ask if the people who have committed would be able to make the Fri or Sat, if you catch my drift.
