I don't think you can get Michelin Pilot Sport 2's for the back (245/45), has anyone used MPS 2's on the front with MPS on the back??

Thanks

I'm running with PS2's all round - they do make 245/45/18.

Best tyre by far I've ever had on the Z - expensive though.

Does anyone have a view on Hankook?

What's the difference between Ventus S1 evo K107 & Ventus V12 Evo??

Never heard a bad word about them, the Ventus V12 is a summer tyre rather than an all rounder like the K107

If you cant explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.

Seeing as Toyo T1Rs have been discontinued, has any tried the combination of T1Rs on the front and Falken 452s on the rear yet? Any TC issues at all?

I'm no expert but I would say that T1R's on the front and 452's on the rear should be an OK combination. Personally I think the 452's are the 'new' T1R's  The Falkens have been around for a while and seem to hold up well on the road and track too

Ive had the 452's for about 4k now on the rear and they are a definate improvement over the michelins that the car came on.

The Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta in 225/45/18 is no longer in production!   That's the second tyre manufacturer after Toyo (who stopped making the T1R) to stuff me by stopping production of a model of their tyres. I've got new rear Sessantas and just 3mm left on the fronts.  I hate mismatching tyres.

I don't think the Poll is balanced given that the Bridgestone RE050s replaced the RE040s - those two votes should be added together (even though the 050s feel like a better tyre).

Given the RE050A has been replaced by the S001, I don't think the poll is really in date

That is a good idea, a lot has changed in the last 6 years regarding tyres

I had Vredstein Ultrac Vorti's on my 350z and they were absolutely brilliant. Both wet and dry grip was excellent, they were stable at high speed and road noise was greatly reduced. I've not put them on the 370z yet as I only bought the car a couple of months ago and it came with new tyres, but when these are shot I will definitely get the Vreds.
