As the weather looks ok tomorrow the Celica may well be making its maiden voyage of the year tomorrow (fingers crossed), and after Stormgirl's earlier choice of driving song and in advance of tomorrow I've just been reminding myself of my favourite: Primal Scream - Swastika Eyes.
Before this begins I always have to make sure I slow down a bit, because the Xtrmntr album version doesn't half lead to heavy foot syndrome in my cars. I've also posted a live version as a tribute to the fact that over the last ten years - and I can't believe it's that old - the main reason I've remained so slim is probably down to that song.

The Damned - Curtain Call (This isn't the best version, I'm listening to the original 17+ minute version which is most excellent)

Top tune that one
You listened to Alter Bridge David?
High up on my driving play list. If you like that and like a bit of guitar solo showing off, have a search for Mark Trimonti on you tube... Amazing solo's

I love The Damned.
The 17 minute version is on The Light At The End Of The Tunnel compilation as well, isn't it? I'll have to dig that out, and if it means I can enjoy a bit of New Rose, Smash It Up and Eloise as well then that will be a bonus.

Presently I'm enjoying a Cribs' b-side titled I'm Still Blaming You, which is delightful. Alas it's too late to find a decent video of it, but I promise I will tomorrow.

At the monent though, I Love Rock'n'Roll. I also love The Jesus And Mary Chain, which is kind of handy considering what's on at the moment . . .

Actually I also enjoyed the setting. I've only been to The Heavenly Social a few times, and not for a while now, but it's always been a great place for me and it was good to see it again from the comfort of home.
