Hi Les, Smoky is in the process of sorting this out. Originally we had plans for 2nd May, but following negotiations with NIssan, the committee decided on Silverstone for that day (FIA GT championship I think) , and Duxford to be rearranged for later in the year.

We have a good relationship with Duxford as to meets/events and we are welcome back. I'm looking to sort something out later on this year.

I know the first year we went to Duxford, apart from the fact it rained constantly we were on our own as a club. There is this event coming up towards the end of July.

Duxford Large Model Air Show

Wondered if that might be a possible again? Just think some of these things are amazing

Black Bird SR71 Radio Controlled.

Just a thought. L

I'm with you, these are amazing. We have a free date on NS to do this as a SE meet. I'll have a chat with Jessica and see what we can do.

The Spring car show was on Sunday - sadly it was pretty rubbish weather so turnouts were cdown, but it was still a good crack. Any event at the museum is a good call IMO, as when you get cold or bored you can go wander round the hangars :welcometonissansportz:

I've not been to Duxford yet, but really want to go. Hopefully we will squeeze a meet in there some time later this year.

Yes, fingers crossed.

I've only been once, even though it's only about twenty-five minutes from where I've lived for the past ten and a half years, but enjoyed it all enormously.

Just make sure you bring some good walking shoes though, as it's a big old site.
