I got the Labour down to £60 / hour at Oxford so the 12000 mile service was £290.
Some people have paid around £540!
Would be interesting to talk to Litchfields as they really know there stuff.

Assuming that the GT-R is still in the 3 year warrentee period and this is with a min dealer. Have you considered options beyond 3 years and doing the work outside of the main dealer route?? If so what are the potential options????

First time there for servicing and I'd say a competent team with a friendly technician, Darren. Work was done within timescale (see seperate thread for extra work carried out) and we had a 370Z Auto for the day to wander round in as per the original GT-R sales promises.
Only additional work was a set of front brake pads but I suppose at 18k miles thats to be expected.

Two cars is enough so I'd have to trade one in - a day with a 370 hasnt changed my view since my original test drive - and I'm not keen on the Auto box....
My logic says if I want more performance than my 350 I drive the GT-R. If i want traditional, RWD, manual driving, I drive the 350 and the the 370 isnt different enough to make me trade-in Muttley!
Sorry Paul!

Plenty of choice outside the dealer network for service, although I am going to stick with Middlehurst.

I heard from somewhere that the warranty was void if the car wasn't serviced by dealer - for mainstream cars this was ruled illegal a couple of years ago and you could go elsewhere providing OEM parts were used - but is this true of the GT-R?

Mark and the team at Abbey have a fine reputation here at nissansportz Wayne, I think it's more a location thing for the majority of our GT-R owners.

I have had bad experience with HPC i think their margins on the initial car sale is so slim that they try and stich up the owners in the aftercare service!! For example after first trackday car had 4k miles on it and they said that i needed to spend circa £6k on tyres, brakes etc etc....... totally unrequired just a scam for your cash IMO

They change the oil, antifreeze, brake fluid etc.
Some of them mentioned that Nissan were trying to keep all the HPCs at similar prices.
Aldershot £820
Slough £885
Middlehursts £650
Cambridge £769 but will go to £650
Bournemouth £700 but will match £650.
Litchfield (not hpc) £483
I'm booked into Bournemouth again who have also agreed to change a cracked rear inner wheel rim under warranty without even seeing it
Have just bought 4 tyres at £1200 and will be getting AP front discs and Cosworth pads for about £1000 fitted.
The wifes car has just had £1650 spent on it so it 's been an expensive month...
