An interesting read, I have noticed this on mine in the last three weeks, I also thought it was the windy weather as the car usually sits in the drive, however, as it was going off a lot (mostly in the middle of the night) so not to annoy the neighbours I put it in the garage - and it still went off, so not necessarily due to the weather!!
Guess the next visit to the dealer garage will be for the rear hatch springs AND the alarm now!!!!

I had been doing the routine of closing all the vents, making sure the aircon was off etc but it still randomly went off. I have now had the alarm reset but have been away for 3 wks so haven't asked the neighbours yet whether it's still going off ...

I haven't heard it nor have the neighbours so seems resetting the electrics did the trick. Famous last words ... !

Hi all, anyone still having problems with this. Mine has gone off four times in the last week, all in the middle of the night. Have it in the garage this week, yesterday they told me they cant find a fault. I've left it with them for a few days. Has anyone's garage been able to solve this that my garage could phone, name and number of garage would be handy. Thanks

Beadles, Eltham - took mine in for the same problem back in April (see above) and [so far] hasn't reoccurred. They couldn't find a fault but reset the electrics I think.

I'm lucky I think, haven't heard mine go off once. My view is that to understand the cause the trigger needs to be ascertained, eg, tilt, shock, movement etc. I'd think that the alarm should log this in some sort of event log?

My garage reset it as well, updated it they said, and so far I can report it hasnt gone off in the last 5 days since it was done!! So here's hoping...!!

I spoke to soon - my alarm went off at 4.10am this morning, and it was even in the garage, not outside! Its now been in 3 times and they still dont know whats wrong obviously.

I'm now getting really frustrated,have just heard my alarm go off,this is now the third time in 3 days,once in the daytime and once in the middle of the night. Do we think this should be added to the known fault thread. I'm at a loss what to do as the garage say they cant find anything wrong. Maybe a letter to Nissan should be my next step!

I've now heard mine going off a few times, once was when neighbours 350 started up next to it, but it's a standard car and surley the alarm shouldn't be that sensative? (Started, on tick over)

Beadles, Eltham sorted mine so if your local garage wants to get in touch with them they should be able to say exactly what they did ... some sort of electrics reset. Think they tried more than one thing
