You like your skiing then? I think i'm being dragged out to ski in the next few weeks..... my balance is good, but i don't think it works on planks of wood strapped to my feet :(

That's one heck of a battery pack, i'm assuming to help with taking vids?

Get a GoPro! YOU WILL LOVE IT! One of the best bits of cam gear I own. We now have 3 between me and jess! They can do every thing from skiing to scuba diving so go on every holiday with us now! :)

That's good to hear as the snow reports look great! Checked the weather for soll and Friday is said to go down to minus 31!!! Apres ski in that weathers got to be bloody cold so jess and I popped out and up graded the foot where for the night time drinking sessions! Some snow and rock thermal lined snow boots! Not the best lookers but feel nice and cozy! Lol

All the best for the skiing trip

Still not sure I would enjoy throwing myself down a icy mountain with boards bolted to my feet as fun, but all to our own

Yeah if you've not left already, enjoy yourselves :)

And, as you've got to be the best source here, let me know what i should be going for with the GoPro, i've no specific use right now, so other than that, what to look for?

This morning - to paraphrase Debbie Harry: now there's a pastime - the doorbell was nearly rung off the wall.

Firstly, for the MX-5, I received: a set of chrome covers for the hoops/bars behind the seats; and, a set of clear lenses, with chrome surrounds, for the side indicators . . .

Posted Image

Then, secondly, I received a Tomioka Racing universal adjustable fuel pressure regulator and liquid filled fuel pressure gauge, which I won in a competition.

There were three prizes in the competition: first was a lightweight car battery, which would have been great; second was mine; and, third was a set of ramps/slopes to assist in jacking up a low-slung car, which again would have been great for the Celica.

Alas, seeing as I don't particularly want to mess about with the fuelling of any car of mine, what I've won is a little surplus to requirements. Therefore I'll have to try and sell it. I understand it's worth somewhere between £100 and£150, so I'm not going to complain - ebay here I come. I just hope I can find someone or two who wants it - if anyone on here is keen though, please let me know and I/we'll sort something out. :)

The covers will probably be on by then, as they apparently need quite a bit of faffing/preparation to fit: clean the surface with surgical spirit; ensure both surfaces are at least at 20oC to activate the adhesive; and then tie them up with tie wraps for a few days.

The indicators I will try and hang onto though, as they are a ten minute job, but it will be a struggle.
