It also says 'Uphill start support' on the manual (GT & GT Edition) which I'd not heard about before. I'll have to ask about that because I'm not sure that's correct

You could be right as it's only on the manuals but it's not mentioned on the base model!

I can't detect the uphill start support - if I stop on a hill and take my foot off the brake it starts rolling back immediately. So maybe it's a printing mistake.
Doesn't matter because my handbrake works and I'm old school like that.

Even Bentley only charge £700 for a proper tracker.
They are "Cobra Tracker Plus!" which you can get for £300 fitted then £180 a year sub... allot less than £990, saying that Nissan quoted me £1100 fitted

It's actually very handy, I think it must only work if the car is in gear and the clutch is still pressed though

I have that on mine too, I thought it was standard? It's useful at times, but am a big handbrake fan. 9/10 times I don't use it. and it only works some times I find, so I can't/won't rely on it.

If you stop on a slight/steep hill, apply the brakes without engaging the handbrake, the car keeps the brakes locked for about 3-4 seconds after you release the pedal. It acts as the handbrake when you begin a hill start. When the clutch engages and the wheels begin turning the brakes release and you drive forwards without rolling back.
If however, you apply the handbrake, the hill assist is turn off and you have to move and stop again before the assist works again.
Hopefully that isn't to confusing?
