I'm going to wait for the credit card bill before I know. Am I right in thinking that midnight tonight is the latest they'll take the money?

Read an article saying its hugely geared towards people taking big gambles and potentially getting in vast amounts of debt. Just what you need when the country is trying to get itself out of recession!

I heard this morning of someone getting over £10,000 worth of tickets allocatd to him, but it was more than was in his bank account so his bank sensibly refused the transfer. The ticketing authority gave him another chance, and so he borrowed some money off his wife and took a bank loan for the rest and he got them.
Fools and their money . . . is what I think.
Are the ticketing arrangements being run by those people who used to work for the banks up to mid-2008? From the look of it, and the geography of it, I wouldn't be surprised if it was. The amount of squirming that Coe has done in the interviews he's participated in on this subject made me awfully suspicious that it was badly arranged too.
