After making its European track debut at Le Mans, the ground-breaking Nissan NISMO LEAF RC will be running at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend. Also taking to Goodwood’s famous hill climb course is one of Sumo Power GT’s race-winning Nissan GT-Rs. That’s not all though, there are a couple of records set to be broken at Goodwood. The standard Nissan LEAF has an electric powertrain, which theoretically means it can be driven just as fast backwards as forwards! This ‘feature’ isn’t available on the production LEAF but for Goodwood it has been allowed as the car will be in the safe hands of stunt driver, Terry Grant. Terry is going to attempt to break two records at Goodwood: the fastest run up the hill, in reverse and the fastest run on just two wheels for a four-wheeled vehicle, in a Nissan Juke!
