Looks great Ian! You know some one has to say it though "need's a drop and spacers" LOL... A grand or two on parts (over night from japan if needed) and that think will be a beast! :teeth:

Now get off the computer and make some videos!

Its in desperate need of a drop. I've spent all my money though on shiny bits & soon to have a timing belt service :)

Once I get the timing belt done & I'm happy its a solid engine, then it will be getting the fcon & boost controller fitted

Very nice mate. The car looks smaller than I thought it would be (comparing it to the Evo). Is it quite light too?

Weighs about the same as a Z & is slightly longer. It feels a lot more nimble & lighter than the Z did though.

Its slightly longer than the Evo, but there isn't a lot in it at all.

I still miss the noise that my Z used to make but the Apexi filters make an awesome noise once on boost :teeth:

Today I got on with fitting some new parts :) HKS SSQV, HKS gear knob & a polished fuse box cover. I've also replaced the MFD screen so now have no more lines in it :)

Bumper off - b**** of a job :) Used to be able to get the Z bumper off within 15mins - took me 2 hours to get this off as I kept finding new bolts that had to be removed

Posted Image

Might have to look at a quick release system when I refit the bumper to bring that time down :)

So I was a bit bored saturday afternoon & decided to install my boost controller :teeth: Its not set up yet because a) I don't have a clue where to begin & 2) I still haven't figured out how the hell you feed the cables from the engine bay into the cabin :teeth:

For now I've only powered it & made a new mounting place for it - decided I would ditch the passenger side heater vent seeing as I rarely have any passengers.

And my new steering wheel ;)

Posted Image

Just need to save up and buy the hub and quick release now

And this is what £160s worth of wheel bearing looks like :o required after one of my rear ones failed :( (I'm blaming Heath for that though, it was the extra weight of carrying him in the car that killed it :teeth:)

Posted Image

Booked in for Thursday morning to get that fitted :teeth:

Yeah its almost as if it was designed to fit there :) I just need to figure out the best way to block the heat from effecting the display.

Went along to 360 Motorsport this morning to get my Blitz downpipes fitted, after getting the car on the ramps though we discovered that I already have Apexi downpipes on the car :) so Blitz downpipes will be sold on at somepoint :#1:

Just some teaser pics of the new wheels

Volk RE30s 19 x 11 ET25 with 295/30/19 tyres. Unfortunatley the inside of the wheel rubs against the suspension  So I fitted some 10mm spacers to the fronts this morning and no more rubbing :yahoo: Although its still pretty tight there

I just need to order some extended studs before I get them refitted & get some proper pics of them

Wheels are now on. Thanks to CS for sourcing me the spacers & for trying to find a set of hubcentrics :bounce:

Wheel specs are

Front: 19 x 11 ET15
Rear: 19 x 11 ET25

295/30/19 Yokohoma Advan V103 tyres all round :band:

Next tyre change I'm gonna drop it down to a 285 tyre to give me a bit more clearance, Coilovers to come in the new year along with a probable arch roll and Z-Tune front wings to give even more movement

I know it needs centre caps - I just cant find any I like & I know the silver nuts looks silly but I've got some black ones due anytime from Adam @ Z1

Proper pics to come over the weekend assumming I dont need a :band: to get out :drunk:
