Looks fanstastic mate.

All you need next is some lights on the roof and a bull bar at the front and then you can achieve the complete look you're going for...

Coilovers will be next  After speaking to a few of the Aussie owners I reckon I might get away with bringing it down 20-25mm before it starts to rub

Not blue either Dan

I originally wanted Cuscos again but I can't justify the price with a looming house purchase (nor can I get a T04Z yet )

Managed to get a good deal on a used set of Nismos that have done around 6K miles.

Car is covered over now ready for hibernation so I'll get these fitted in the new year & then its off to Abbey to get my F-Con and boost controller setup :D

Looking good mate! I know im being anal but you HAVE to straighten up the HKS hump hose on the front filter! haha... Its gonna be a shame to lose them when you go for the T04z single mate! Im sure the extra power and noise will make up for it though!

Ian WE NEED VIDEOS!!!!!! I cant wait to hear the Ti exhaust man. Ti exhausts have a great tone to them!

Will straighten up the hose when I get a chance, it was straight but then the MAF sensor wouldn't reach :P

I can't wait to hear the Tomei exhaust, I'm in the 2nd batch of orders for it - the first batch they made 3 & all went to Australia. Mine should be the first 34 in the UK with it once it arrives :D

Long overdue update

Some good  Some baaaaaaad

Over Christmas I spotted a sale on a car audio website, the speakers in the GTR are crap & can barely be heared once the car is upto motorway speeds. I found a 2 for 1 offer on a set of speaker that were pretty highly rated & early impressions are pretty good. I can actually hear my music now :)

Posted Image

I removed my FMIC & washed it and polished it up a bit, I also fitted my new hard pipe kit :)

Posted Image
Posted Image

Finally settled on a choice of wheel nuts after months of looking. I ended up with purple Muteki nuts B) also managed to source some Volk centre caps in gloss black

Posted Image

Fitted some neon blue led's in the footwells, gives a nice glow at night when you open the doors B)

Posted Image
Posted Image

Carbon fibre lip & diffuser, Nismo smoked front & side indicators fitted

Posted Image
Posted Image

Then my coilovers finally arrived. So Saturday morning I set off early to go to 360 Motorsport in Usk to get them fitted.

We got the rear shock out & the new one into place, put the wheel back on and it immediately hit against the springs. Threw on a set of 10mm spacers & it was still touching. Any larger than that and the wheels will be too far out :(

New shock out, old one back in, wheels back on and back home to cry having wasted a morning :(

Wheels will be going up for sale & I will probably be ordering the Varrstoen's I originally planned to order next week. Really gutted about that because the RE30's suit the car so well :(

Gutted Ian! The volks are really nice! Can you not just run a 275 tire with some stretch? Or change the coilovers to a different model that has a small wound spring? Such a pain in the a** mate!

Dont give up hope though!

It's an option but they already rub on full lock as it is :( You can't get a finger in between the back of the wheel & the strut.

Gonna get some 9.5 ET0 to compensate for it though :D

Shame about the fitment. Those wheels are gorgeous though, I'm sure you'll have no problems shifting them ;)
