Very true, and thanks both Andys. :)

I've gone from an A (CB8) to a B (HU15), and I'm paying more.

Mind you, a big claim in the last five years doesn't help either. There aren't many things in my life I regret, but financially that is one . . .

I dream of being able to insure my beast for this low price!

I suppose living in a Cat C* area isn't helping me :cry2:

Needs to be a bit more detailed than just lowest price. Otherwise it's like comparing the cost of stella to skol, both lagers but I know which I'd pick. Might give an idea of what factors make the biggest difference.

£470 for Admiral me only to drive
age 45 with over 10 years ncb
14k miles business use
hks exhaust declared
kept on the drive
classed as an A post code

£50 more if I put it down as garaged.

:) agreed

£288 for Tesco me + wife
age 46 with over 10 years ncb
£350 voluntary excess + £150 imposed excess
10k miles business use
No Mods - although brand new GT Edition
kept on the drive
classed as an A post code
