esure/Sheila's Wheels seem to be the cheapest by a long way for me - London, area F, 40s, plenty of no-claims

Penny has reinsured with Sheila's Wheels (I think the main driver/insurer has to be a woman...)

Not true fortunately. I'm the main driver and insured with SW although my g/f is on the policy.

Shelia's Wheels used to be "women only" but there was a recent ruling that said you cannot discriminate by gender alone so they had to open their doors to us lesser mortals!

Paul, I'll bring some details of my multi vehcile policy with me Saturday (can't remember insurers name, at work at the moment) The Golf, all mods listed, wheels with a value of 3k, garaged away from my property, 2000 Fireblade, insured for Business use as well 2010 Fireblade. I'm 38, around £740 from memory. The renewal just come through for the 370z, which is currently with Shela's Wheels, 10k, including business use, £630. Going to see how much to add it to the multi policy

Insurance renewal just came through - £361 ...... £80 more than last year !!

did the usual trawl through comparison sites and the odd single - got it down to £294 with Sainsburys !!

went back to Tesco - they've dropped it to £291 - so £10 up on last year, but part of that was with an Audi TT

so why don't they give you their best quote 1st time around !!! ???

Tried sky, were considerbly more expensive. I'll see how good they are as reported a claim this week after someone reversed into me :bang:
