Here are some words from Bob:
Quote
The car seemed to be excellent and we were not expecting an engine failure, but due to the proximity of the final event of the Blancpain Endurance Series, which we are leading, we could not risk the spare engine and so we regretfully withdrew the car.
We had entered the race primarily to give our Academy winners the experience, and they did gain a lot of experience because we had been running since Wednesday testing, Thursday testing and Friday with day and night qually.
Although this was the primary reason for entering the event we were determined to also do well and would have expected to achieved a good result if the car has not had this problem.

So we wish them all the best in the final race of the Blancpain Endurance Series which takes place back at Silverstone this weekend
Also, if you'd like so see more on the Academy then Eurosport are running a 21 series short programme on Tuesday evenings at approx 10 - 11 pm called "Road to Dubai" which follows all the Academy winners through selection, training etc. Tonight's edition is episode 4 which starts to involve their race training.
