A couple of weeks after I took delivery of my MY11 car, it emerged that NMGB and the HPCs were putting together a servicing package for the MY11 models (they have 9,000 mile service intervals).
The rumoured cost was £499 for three years servicing, which sounded like a bargain to me, so I've been pursuing my HPC and NMGB to get further details. And despite offering to pay the money now, I was told to wait for the pack to come through......
Now, finally, after seven months of ownership, I've got the pack and the deal is:
Service Plan for three years or 27,000 miles, to cover labour, parts, oils and fluids as detailed in the service schedule. Cost is either £499 or...... FREE if you use Nissan Finance as part of the purchase package!
My comments:
Woohoo - I used Nissan Finance (RCI) so nothing to pay (my first two services on the MY09 model cost me around £2k!!)!
Woohoo #2 - It includes oils and fluids - thats at least one transmission oil change!
NotSoSure - The 27k limit implies that the service will have to be carefully scheduled to avoid drifting over the qualifying mileage which the agreement seems very firm about....
I'm about to book in for my 9k service, so we'll see how this works - and I'm told I'm Westover's first MY11 customer to get to that mileage......

That is a very good deal indeed.
Just had a look at my HPC service prices I actuallypaid for the old .5 year 6K mile regime:
6K miles £220
12K miles £290 (normally 600)
18K miles £800
24K miles £650
30K miles £240
Total for 2.5 years so far £2200.
If I had paid some of the more expensive HPC quotes it would have been over £3000 so far.

Ouch. Have you considered putting the Juke engine in the car?

Had my 9k service last week. All done, plus the Optimisation, and a fiddle with the tyres (more anon) and was presented with a bill for £0.00. I like this scheme!
