One thing that reason for selling my GTR was the fear of a lck of warranty beyond the 3 years. I've just been trawling the Nissan website and have seen a 2 year extension at £6500!! Is this correct? I'm still in shock!

Nissan originally had it on their site at £1000 per year then withdrew it.
6.5K is silly money...

Just got a quote from the Nissan Care site for my car:
1 year 20,000 miles £500 individual claim limit (basic cover) £549
1 year 20,000 miles Claim limit up to the vehicle purchase price and extended cover (Ultimate cover) £869.

Ouch. That's not the sort of thing that fills you with confidence is it?

Paul's figures sound fair though.

I had to check it I was so shocked!

Shows 1 year extension @ £2,658 or 2 years @ £6,598! I'm assuming your offer overrides that nonsense Paul?

Mind you... £500 claims limit?? Thats a couple of bulbs....which they'll exclude anyway!

Well it appears that £6500 is the correct amount for a 2 year warranty extension from Nissan despite what there own website said.
I don't think they will get many takers for that.

Frankly that's a disgrace. I know it's a performance car but are they that fragile?

Doesn't fill you full of confidence to buy a used one unless your pockets are bottomless.
