Not hugely surprising - albeit sad news for Renault - I fear this type of situation increasing exponentially over the coming 12 months if our economy doesn't recover (and thus the drama queens in the press divisions learn to shut up and stop preaching bad-news 24/7) ...

No real loss as it's Renault, but i see the point. Having spoken with my Dad over cars in general here now days, i can see the problem. Taxation classes, which only affect UK markets, completely make a mess of everything. Things won't sell, take a recent civic estate, it's 40cc over a tax bracket, making it a no brainer because of the ridiculous taxes on cars in the UK.
It's not an easy place to make/sell cars, when the rest of your markets are completely different
