Sometimes these are for US cars and don't work on UK ones but maybe 66cw could try that out for us? Don't forget - the timing on the instructions are critical.

Did you do anything in particular to prevent the light coming on? I don't suppose you took any pics during the job?
In answer to your question I've seen a few on ebay. They generally start at around £100 but to be honest I don't remember seeing anyone bid on one.
