I thought there was a ruling about the A pillar had to be straight? could be wrong though.
I've not weighed it yet - probably about 50kg though.
The cage should meet most regs - it all depends on the series that the car will be used in. Initially it'll just be for fun on trackdays
Just got to decide which engine to use - current favorite is a VR38DETT...

As for the A Pillars some regulations require a bracing bar from the top of the bend in the roof down to the cross bar on the door x brace. The cage looks great though mate and would pass 99% of most regulations by the look of it. Is it just Mild CDS not T45 i take it?
Cost?

Car is currently at the paintshop having the interior sprayed up. Then we'll get it back together and see how it goes

It would have been cheaper to ask Tim to come over with some rattle cans and some breathing equipment though!

Got up this morning at 6am (still the middle of the night as far as I'm concerned) and headed over to Bedford Autodrome. I was regretting removing the heater most of the way there - bloody cold.
It was a fantastic day, weather couldn't have been better - about 20 deg C and clear blue skies all day
Had few sessions up against supposedly superior cars, but the 350 held its own - the seats, cage and weight loss have helped the handling no end.
Also, tried out a set of EBC Bluestuff pads - they worked very well indeed. Much more feel than the Yellows they replaced. I think these are my favorite budget pads now, with PF 01 compound being the best (and most expensive) I've used.
I didn't get much media during the day as I've not sorted a camera mount yet.
I think my next set of mods will be accusump (from my old track car), Nismo diff (should be with me this week) and some slicks to put on my other set of wheels. That should help the lap times a bit

I bet you wish you hadn't removed the AC after a few laps too!

I bought and have fitted a Nismo 1.5 way diff. I had a problem on track where the car would spin the inside wheel coming out of tight corners.

We took the car round Combe during Japfest for a couple of sessions and its made a huge difference. Seems to handle a little better too. I'm in busters video at about 6m35s:
I'm also testing some prototype high flow cats - they seem to have put up with the track abuse with no problems. They'll be available in a few months time.
I've also ordered some engine rebuild parts: forged pistons, steel conrods, valve springs, bearings, arp stud kits and darton liners. I think you can see where this is heading
