For discussion....

Who is up for a meet to swap photography / video tips?

My plan would be to meet somewhere scenic (this might mean a convoy there and some minor detailing first). Then spend a few hours taking photos & videos (with the emphasis on sharing kit and techniques)

Finally, we could end up somewhere to share a few beers over food and eventually pass out before heading for home the following morning.

All we need now is a list of possible venues and some attendees

Yeah Im up for this Paul. Ill have to see wan im off and if its close enough to me to make it viable.

Will be a good meet i we get nice weather!

Another thought would be to combine a mini meet the day before a car show perhaps? We could do a few hours the day before a major event then use the stuff we learn at the even the next day?

I like the idea of joining it onto an event. There is Japfest on 12th May at Castle Coombe...

Oh yes I'm definitely up for this! I just bought my Japfest tickets the other day as well so that would be ideal, but any time should suit me depending on work!

I've been a bit slack so far this year with photography so I should be looking for every excuse I can to get out there with the camera! I'm yet to give my camera slider a proper run out as well!

Is Japfest OK? We would very much be 'learning on the job' but there will be lots to photograph. A night out / in afterwards sounds like fun
