Dear Members and Forum Users,

As Chairman of nissansportz.com for the coming year I’d first like to wish you all a Happy, Prosperous and Nissan-pleasure filled 2012.

2011 got off to a slow start, mainly I think, due to the economic climate (I know I wondered whether my clients would still want to pay for my services). However, later in the year things seemed to settle down and, with the help of Nissan Motors GB, we managed a real “money cannot buy” National event at BRITCAR Silverstone and later the thoroughly enjoyable Christmas Party (there might have been an AGM in there somewhere too!). There were other events too and we will try and recap these in the forthcoming edition of our Newsletter – Yes, we’re planning to publish an email newsletter as required during the coming year.

All of this has given us more optimism about what can organise for you during 2012 and, with our now excellent and continually improving relationship with NMGB, we have outline plans for various events during the year. Some of these will, of course, be for members only, so that brings me nicely to reminding you that your membership renewals are due by the end of January. A bank transfer of £24 will see you get full benefit from the club as the year unfolds. And of course, if you haven’t previously been a member what better time to become one than at the beginning of the membership year.

nissansportz is a great place to share information about all our car interests, together with the prospect of socialising with lots of nice people. Whether you have (or want to have) a 350Z, 370Z, GT-R, or other Nissan sports car this is the place to be (and NMGB assure me you don’t have to be a member of any other club to get their GT-R information!).
