Was planning on doing so, can even take people for a little drive if they fancy it!

Just to continue the habit of a lifetime, it isn't the cleanest at the moment... Oh well, a car's for driving, not cleaning May get it cleaned tomorrow if I get the time.

That annoying Paul you can't make it guys jess and I will be coming down midday and doing a little shopping on the Friday afternoon what time and where do we want to meet to exchange tickets etc? I'm staying in Swindon so I'll make my way down to the circuit in the morning.

Its only a short drive from the hotel to the track so we'll have limited places to stop, i should be at the hotel by 7pm tomorrow if you want to hang around in Bath until then?

If you want a lift to the hotel in Bath for a drink on the Friday night, I'm going from Swindon to get there at about 7pm and then coming back to be back in Swindon at about 11pm. I've got 5 seats in the car if Jess wants to come along!

Did you say you were staying in a Premier Inn? Will be going past the Premier Inn by the M4 J16 if that's where you're staying and live close to the Swindon North one in Blunsdon. The only one of the 3 that I'm not that close to is the one at Kembrey Park but it's no problem to get you from there if that's the one you're in!

Anyway, let me know if you want a lift.

The plan is to meet at the Old Mill Hotel Bath on saturday morning @ 0745-0815 once everyone is assembled we'll head to Castle Coombe.


Tim hopefully we'll see you at the bar tonight and exchange tickets etc.

Details for hotel:

This tranquil spot is only approximately 5 minutes drive from the centre of Bath and is easily reached from the M4 motorway. From Junction 18 on the M4 motorway, it is only a 15 minute drive to the Old Mill.

The Old Mill is located just of the A4 signposted Batheaston and the hotel entrance is positioned on the left just before the toll bridge. We are approximately 2 miles from the centre of Bath.

Hi guys.. Can anyone help me

Desperatly need a new tyre and have bought one.. But went to have it fitted and the div who supplied me the car did not supply me the key for the anti theft nuts on the wheel. I have the key for the 1 lockin wheel nut but the the other 4..!! Does anyone have one or know of a place I can find one? I think it's called spline but can't be 100% sure. Another thing I thought of is they mite possibly be able to do it at japfest..

Check the website a lot of meets do this stuff. I remember 3FiddyZ having a tyre change at a meet when he got a flat and all the cars on our pitch will have a key for the nuts in. Good luck

There are a lot of stalls there mate and someone might be able to help you out. There aren't that many different 'keys' (do I remember 20??) so you might strike lucky. Or, you can buy something that will remove it but will destroy the nut.

However, you should have 4 spare non-locking nuts - or did they not give you those either?

Hi mate. I've got the 1 key but the other 4 are different..Think there called 'spline' nuts.. I was hoping they mite have something at japfest (if I make it on the small amount of tyre that is left) as I'm sure they'll be many people that will be needing new Tyres on the day. But thank you for the advice.. It's much appreciated.

Sorry, I missed the point you were making earlier. Most owners of UK cars will have 4 spare wheel nuts as the locking wheel nuts were fitted after the cars were imported.

If you aren't fussed about having locking wheel nuts then I'm sure a couple of people will donate a wheel nut or 2 to get you sorted. Or you could buy some nice aftermarket ones and replace them all....

Lol.. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. There is no room around the outside of the nut to ram anything on either. I'll just have to see tomorrow.. I'm not fussed what I've got on there right now.. I just need the tyre off. It doesn't look healthy but thank you
