Back for the first time in 2012 we present another London Tunnel Run, hosted by MissBanzai.com inviting all Japanese car owners!

Please read the details below and follow the donation instructions.

*** Note this is for Japanese cars only - no exceptions.. Non Jap cars will be refused entry ***
The run will kick offat Arena Essex (RM19 1AE) on Saturday 10th March from 8.30pm. There is a £2 per person entry fee on the gate to cover venue hire and admin charges.
Maps will be handed out on arrival to those who have pre-paid through JustGiving.
There will be no entry to the site after 10.15pm so please arrive on time!
Last map hand out/registration will be 10:35pm
This will give you plenty of time to meet your friends, have look around your fellow runners cars and have something to eat and drink.

Please register your attendance by visiting http://www.justgivin.../MissBanzai2012 and donating your £8.00 entry fee.
Or you can now donate via text, this will cost £10 for your entry fee (but it is nice and easy)
Please a text “BANZ69 £10” to 70070
If you send your donation via text you MUST complete the gift aid form and write in the comments your forum and user name. If you do not do this we will have no way of tracking your donation and you will have to donate again on the night.
When donating via the web page please put user name & club in the comments – nothing else.

When donating via text please complete the gift aid form putting your user name and club in the comments box. Donations made via the Just Giving site or text will go direct to the nominated charity, Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital Charitable Fund. This is MissBanzai's 8th tunnel run and we decided that this would be our chosen charity for this event.

Sadly one of the heads of the MissBanzai team lost her mother last year to Pulmonary Fibrosis. Her mother was treated at this hospital. The Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Trust is also the largest specialist heart and lung centre in the , treating patients from across the country. Money raised through the Charity sponsors pioneering research which helps to understand the causes of these diseases and develop new treatments.

Simple Rules
-Please arrive at the arena no earlier than 8.30pm. PLEASE NOTE you should use the go kart track entrance to the arena.
There will be a £2 per person cash charge entry fee on the gate to cover the arena hire costs and administration.
-When donating online in the comments please put your club name & forum user name - nothing else, or on the gift aid comments box if donating via text. This list will be used to hand out the route maps of the run on the night, so if your names not down you’re not coming in!

-Payments for maps can only be taken up to 13:00 on 10th March 2012 on the Just Giving site or via text. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER AFTER THIS TIME or you will not be included on the list of maps for us to allocate on the night!
If you do not pay you are not guaranteed a map.

-Entry is £8 for a map (prepay on Just Giving), £10 via text and £2 per person in cash on the gate to the arena on the night to cover the arena costs and administration.

4 days to go, please make sure you make your donation on the just giving site if you wish to take part.

By the way, from previous experience (not to say its you guys, I'm posting this on all the forums I'm posting on) we always get a few that turn up but make no donation and just tag along, as this is a charity event (and cheaper than a lot of static events) we feel this is quite unfair to see people take advantage this way. This is why, if we see anyone who is just tagging along this time, we will take down numberplates and name and shame them. We feel this would be particularly effective this time due to the amount of coverage we are getting now. So please guys and girls, make the donation and don't be a douche and just tag along!

ok please post this on all forums you have posted to about the tunnel run...

Its groups like this that often have us asking ourselves why we bother to organise tunnel runs…

People that don’t want to put their hands in their pockets and donate a small amount to charity, whilst having fun.

Comments like…

Ben Bumpin Buckley why arnt you going into essex arena?
Kim Ling whats that mean?
Ben Bumpin Buckley everyone is leaving from the arena so wondered why people meeting in the services?
Chien Ling last year it took over an hour and a half to get out of the arena... 400+ cars through one gate... meeting at services seems the logical alternative...
Ben Bumpin Buckley yes you do have a very good valid point there Posted Image took us ages to get out

Ben Bumpin Buckley Haha wicked stuff. What time you arriving ?
Chien Ling About 11pm...
Ben Bumpin Buckley Arena leaving at 1045 ain't they?
Chien Ling Not all 400+ cars will be able to leave at the same time so they will probs start leaving for the A13 between half 10 to midnight... if we leave for the route at half 11, there will be plenty of action... :o)

Every year we have the same people tagging along and not donating.
We know that they are public roads and everyone is intitalled to drive on them,
But we have had people in the past that are just out to cause trouble for everyone else, driving dangerously etc.. its people like these that give good people who want to do something for fun and raise money in the process a bad name.

This year as well as chalking numbers on the cars we will also be putting a unique symbol on each window. If you see a car on the route without these markings, please take down the details and name and shame.

It takes a lot of time, effort and money to arrange these events, and we hope that all the people that donate and enjoy the event think it is worth while.
So please help us keep these events worth doing, and stop people like this spoiling our fun.
