Want to look into it for this summer, BUT not using MY car if you know what I mean.
I AM used to rwd as my last car was an S2000 with no traction control, but seeing as I have best part of 330bhp In my 370 i would love to learn how to extract that more safely or learn some tips on power sliding etc on track.
Does anyone know of anything worth considering?
Ive found drifting courses but I'm not sure if drifting is the right thing I'm after if that makes sense. More power sliding and getting to know the limits
As has been said, we run Drifting & Over Grip Limit Handling Courses at our base at Millbrook in Bedfordshire. In the main they are taken on a 1-2-1 basis but the half day session can be shared by up to 3 people, with the driving time shared. We do not put people together who don't know each other, therefore you would need to bring the group together, if the course was to run with 2 or more people.
On a 1-2-1 you have 2 hours driving time out of the 3 hour session (£640), 2-2-1 = 1 hour each (£340 pp) and 3-2-1 = 40 minutes each (£240pp). We have run over 300 of these courses now and the itinerary is carefully crafted to build your skills progressively, culminating in the challenge to drift either a quarter, half or full circle at the end.
The overview for this course is here for your review:

The other format this course takes is that run for car clubs like nissansportz. 4 people join us for the day and work through the same itinerary as above, with the additional option to use your own car for a session at the end. The circuit is wetted at that time to minimise the wear on your tyres. Across the day you will each enjoy 1 hours driving time and there is a prize for the Drifting God of the day. Price per person is £325.
Hope this gives you the idea of what we offer in this area. Any questions let me know.
Jo
