The 2012 Track Pack edition GTR has just arrived at some UK dealers, and we have the first photos of the car to be sold.

The main changes for an additional £10,000 from the 2012 (550PS) car are:

V Spec Wheels
Brake cooling ducts to the front and additional cooling to rears
NordRing (Tochio Suzuki) Dampers
High grip (Not Recaro labeled) Seats with blue stripes
Rear seats deleted
Track Pack Logo on centre console

A few more photos. :D
Unfortunately I could only sit in it and hear the engine as it was not prepped for the showroom yet.
You could hear the gearbox a little more than normal due to the lack of rear seats.

Mmmmm, I likey! Lots of carbon where you can't see it - that must mean it's there for a real purpose and not just show

nice one paul

so it is a simple lift of the Nordring dampers then

and the car as a whole, arguably what the spec v should have been

That's a very good point. I expect that's why Nissan ever only sold one Spec-V in the UK.

Yes, Certainly much better value than the spec V, and a lot of the naff 911 specials.
Can't help thinking Titanium exhaust, Nismo diff cooler, and more carbon would make this a much bigger seller at this price increase.

Plus I'd have gone for a more racing style seat , a la Porsche 911 gt3.

Looks good though; which dealer had this?

With trade in at around 30ish the cost to buy this would be more than the original cost of our cars.
Very difficult to justify unfortunately.

I suspect that even with the increased cooling , you'd be changing out the brakes as well, if you routinely track.

Stage 2 remap, Litchfield or even Nordring suspension, ducted front splitter; for a fraction of. Trade Up and at least as good a car

So you're saying by spending more money on your existing GT-R you will actually be saving money!

I like your thinking, you just need to convince someone else... ;)
