Hi all,

Ive just collected the car from JAC exhausts in Nottingham with my new custom longtube header system on :-)

The lengths, pipe sizes and collecters were designed on lotus software.

It sounds awesome, like a 3.5 hayabusa if you can imagine that!? Will try and post a video after the rollers tomorrow....

That looks great! The standard headers look so restrictive as standard - the collector exit is tiny.

Yeah, vast improvement on the stock/aftermarket ones, now on 2" primaries at 900mm long, 2.5" secondaries at 1200mm and then the 3" silencer.

Results just in.........

309 whp!
395nm torque (approx 295ft/lb)

Chuffed to be fair, torque was over 340nm from 2400rpm to 6100rpm and both curves were very smooth

The torque and suspension improvements seem to have worked, it was doing power wheelies again at the shakedown day!

Not too bad really, good suspension helps.

It took 2 runs for my eyes and brain to adjust to the acceleration again after a winter off, the zed doesn't even compare :-)
