To complete the full kit for a P1 service, I assume you've already got teabags, milk, and perhaps sugar? ;) :D

Tyres all round next.. Its a good sign when all tyres are wearing relatively even. Previous owner didn't abuse the rear tyres.lol

Ferodo ds2500 pads all round and plain discs all round to follow later next year..

That is also next up for me but at the moment there still isn`t any fitment for the front wheels with the Michelin pilot sport 4 S so I will wait on a while and see if they start to put those sizes into production.

Check out black circle, GavC.

They have ps4's in the correct size for the front I'm sure of it.

They have the PS4`s but not the PS4S which is the replacement for the MPSS.

I had a look on the Michelin website and they don`t do the correct size for the 19" wheels, I didn`t check the 18" wheels though.

If they don`t start making them in the size we need I will plump for the MP4`s instead, though I will be using Event Tyres as they have some good reviews for the fitters and someone on here used them and said they were really good, I forgot who thought  :bang:

Changed the oil and filter today. Easiest oil change ever, 5 bolts (incl sump plug), filter change and new oil.. Thats my 27k out of the way.

I think I may go to town on this car next year and make the underside as tidy as the rest. I am a bit of a weirdo as I find laying on my back on a hard floor underneath a car quite therapeutic. lol

You're not the only one. :D

It's good to hear the service went easily and well.

It is very therapeutic getting underneath though - at least when you make a bit of progress.  I did underneath the front of mine and in the wheel arches earlier this year, and it was a good feeling.

This Winter and early next year my paint could do with a bit more work - or at least a few more stone chips could do with a touch-up, and a bit more polish overall - but the rear underside might get a tidy up too, particularly the W-brace.

Interestingly the motul oil has the engine running 5 or so degrees hotter. It gets there quicker too but that is not a bad thing, and atleast it holds. I dont know what oil they used previously (although it was fresh at time of purchase)...

However the big plus is the engine is quieter and smoother on the new oil.

That is interesting.  So you're running 5w30 now, I wonder what grade was in before.  It might be the grade that's making more of the difference than the make.
