When we met up at Belper in Feb, we discussed meeting for a drink/bite to eat down in the Malverns.

Anyone still up for that - I know Geoff has become a traitor to the zed cause, but we could still meet up down there and have a look at his Evo!! :bounce:

Went down to Bath on Sunday and it reminded me of the nice roads and countryside in that area.

Dave.

Hiya Dave ........

We certainly did discuss that and I still think it's a great idea. Would you like to jump into the hot seat and organise that then  I'd suggest the biggining of next month might be a good idea ..... check the main diary and check it's not going to clash with anything else and pick a venue etc. Might be worth meeting up somewhere like Bromsgrove :bounce: and planning a run down that way.

By the way, will we be seeing you at this months Midlands meet that Geoff is organising for this Sunday in Dudley  I'll be meeting up with Geoff and the350zguy in Bromsgrove about 10.15 ish I think ...... I'll post a link up when I find it.

HERE IT IS

Hi Glyn
Yep, more than happy to arrange that. :bounce:

I will contact Geoff to find a suitable venue down his way. We will be away from 3 May to 12 of May. What's the preference, Weekdays or weekends?

Didn't see the thread on this Sundays meet, have been away recently but will try to make it.

Cheers.

Dave

Hi Guys,

I'll try and make it, but it would have to be weekends for me at the moment as I'm working in London.

I was hoping to make it to the Sundat event that Geoff has arranged, but out to blow the froth off a couple on Saturday nite, so will need so R & R on Sunday.
Be mindful that there is a Japfest do on the 20th May (my birthday and the girly wants me at home on that day) but any other weekend is lloking good for me.

As just a suggestion - how about arranging the meet at Shelsley Walsh on a weekend when there's a hill climb event?
Its a beautiful spot for watching a wide variety of cars in and old-school motor racing atmosphere.

That sounds like a top idea. I've been thinking of entering the Cossie in an hill climb so this would be excellent reaserch.

I'll have to check with the boss, but don't think anything significant is happending that weekend so should be on for this. Weather should be great by then as well..

Thanks Dave for organising this. Our area co-ordinator is a little slow at times, but don't tell him I said this...

Cheeky pup ..... you've had a meeting virtually every month with this being the fourth, a spread of events meal, drifting, inter club meet and now a run to evesham, and everyone is getting a go at organising something ........ what more do you want   :) :?: :(

Seriously, I view the area co-ordinator thing as a facilitator with the emphasis of making sure everyone gets involved and gets the same enjoyment out of the club as I did in the last twelve months. I hope by Christmas next year there are loads of Midlanders all jostling for the position and we can elect a new one by poll ....... now there's democracy for you :?: :?: :) :(

You'll learn with me ..... it's all in the smilies :?: When the little red ones get used ....... only then am i p155ed :)

No offence taken, honestly, I'm currently so chilled they've just checked my pulse in the office :( couldn't understand why they were so upset at finding one :?:

I know I'm away for a week at the begining of May...I'll find out the dates when I get back to work on Monday....but if that hill climb is on the weekend that sounds like a fantastic idea.

Dave try and come this weekend.....it should be a good meet, I think about 20 evos are going now!!

Ok - been in touch with Shelsley Walsh to find out more about the Hill Climb on 14th May.

Waiting to hear about admission charges & parking etc.

From what everyone said yesterday - this would be a great venue for our next meet. I think we said we would invite the Evo gang & possibly the Supra lot!! B)

Watch this space for more info. :bounce:

Dave.
