Hi all - back in circulation. Had a good week and a half off, but got back to long grass due to weather, got mower out and sheared a sprocket off. So been out tonight to get replacement - now it's raining. What's that wet stuff all about!!!

Kev, I'll pm my mobile no to you. With regards to when it finishes, I sent an e-mail to everyone on the Shelsley site but no-one has replied yet!!!

What a bloody great day. Nice event and nice company. Lovely to see some old friends and make some new. Sorry I missed you Tim when you were leaving and thanks for suggesting this event. I really enjoyed the day.

Well, what a great day out yesterday - never been to a hill climb before, but really enjoyed it.

Even Hazel enjoyed it - I think it took her back to when she 'mechanicked' for her dad when he racing F1 stocks, hot-rods and grasstracking and collecting bottles for the 1d deposit (well she was 4 at the time)!!!

The setting for the hill-climb is beautiful and it was good to meet up with old friends & new again.

Thanks to Kev (authority on all things mechanical) for being the 'official photographer! You got some great pics.

..........and as for Doug & Trudy - the professional pick-nickers, as you can see by the first photo, Hazel & Trudy are very partial to wine but Doug & I don't drink!!!

Even Dave (cheekymonkey) turned up to see Doug & myself off from Warwick even though he couldn't make it! Next time Dave.

Finally it was good to meet stoko (Phil) and mate Paul at Shelsley. Great suggestion, so much so, that I can't claim the organisation for this event. Credit must go to Phil - cheers mate

So, Doug and I will organise a meeting local to us - Warwickshire area, for when Doug gets back from the states, probably end of July. So keep a look out for a new thread.

Sorry I couldn't make it ....... Sunday was a bit of a downer of a day but the surveyor came today and it looks like we're gonna get the valuation we need on Nikki's house which will allow us to go on and get the finance on the one we want !!!!!!! First bridge crossed ....... a few more coming up I guess but non that will be such a huge draw on my time as this has been !!!!!
