Very nice indeed. :)

With the six-pot engine that could be worth keeping.

Coincidentally, I've literally just seen/heard a new four-pot Cayman again - in terms of disappointing engine sounds, it's in a league of its own.

Very Nice Tracy, will be really interested to hear about the ownership experience of the Porker.  Its something one day I would like to try.

Thank you. That was my thinking and justification for buying it really... not sure the rest of the family bought into the idea, but never mind  :D

I went for a test drive in the new Boxster 718 before I bought this one, and whilst I agree totally about the sound (even with he exhaust loud button), it wasn't quite cutting it... well, not cutting it at all, but will say, I was very impressed with the drive, it was very fast and felt planted for a 2.0L

I could listen to the GTS all day long, especially with Sports Plus, the up and down gear sounds are amazing  :biggrin2:

Thanks Les, I haven't had much opportunity to take it for a decent drive, but as the weather is brightening up, then I'm sure it won't be long. Just everyday driving feels amazing so far

I am indeed Sarah, just wondering the best option to keep my hair not looking like a birds nest whilst the roof is down

Suppose shaving isn't an option

Some incredibly firm hairspray or a nice tight ponytail :)

Tracy, the new car looks beautiful! It would be good to hear your opinion of it after a couple more miles - remember, we're about sports cars and people here, not just the microcosm of Nissan!

Is there dissent in the household about the purchase? It looks great, and the colour is similar to my friend's Baxter which is a little older and in Guards Red.

Good to have you back on-forum again!

And if you really do want this thread locked, any of the Mods/Ctte will of course oblige, but would you continue the story in "Other Cars" in that case? We want the news and pictures!

look forward to seeing pics of you wrapping the roof, you won't regret it - get the back window tinted too  ;)

nothing personal against micras, but...

Not sure if this pic works... can't work out where to attach it to the thread properly

Nice car, Tracy!

...and I wrapped the roof a few weeks ago! - and the windows were already tinted a few months ago! Keep up - keep up!
