Hello :-)!

 

I hope you will understand what I write 

 

 

My name is Julien I'm french, around 30 years old (I do not count years anymore  ).

I like the Z family for a long time, and now I own a 370Z 40th Anniversary      , with automatic transmission and less than 22000 km.

 

I really like this dark grey paint with some purple reflexions under the sun, with this red interior.

I was not looking for a limited edition, I found it by chance and I am happy with that :-) !

 

For the moment I find it is really comfortable, I fear the seats and springs would be hard but after 500 km to bring it back to home, no problem!

And I already made a modification.... I had the problem that some of you know, my trunk had some difficulties to open, so I added some rubber circles inside the spring (I saw that some of you put some money):

Your writing and pictures are more than fine.

 

What I've found with the 350Z boot springs is that 1 US cent coins fit perfectly.  In warm climates one each side usually does the trick.  If it gets colder then a second each side will go in, but it sounds like you won't need that for a while.

Hi, Julien and welcome to nissansportz! I don't believe that colour ever appeared in the UK (do you have the name of it or the colour code?) and your car looks fantastic.

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about modifications or fixes to problems for the 370 as our right-handed answers will probably be valid for left-handed European cars.

I live near Lille, in North of France. So I am not very far from UK!

I don't know the Côte d'Azur very much, but now I have a nice car I need to spend some holidays there one day  .

 

For the trunk spring I feared that I could get some noise/vibrations with money coins, and I already had a small rubber plate in my toolbox, that is why I prefered it.

For the moment 1 rubber plate works fine, if it doesn't work anymore in a few months I will put a second one :-).

So no need to send me some $ or £ coins!

 

My color code is KAV, and its name in French is "Gris Quartz".

In France there was only 2 colors for this 40th Anniversary Edition, the classical black (which can be found on "normal" editions), and this dark grey KAV which is specific to the 40th Anniversary Edition.

This KAV is different from the classical dark grey.

This would have been a great pleasure to come, but I already planned to go in Spa-Francorchamps track for the WEC on 6th May :-(.

I see that you do this meet every year, so maybe I will plan to come in 2018!

Regarding the color I made a mistake on the name, it is "Quartz Metal" in France. But the KAV code is good.

 

 

@Vampirex, what is MY? Manufacturing Year? If this is your question, the car has been sold in September 2010, and manufactured just before (July or August).

MY is Model Year so it could be a MY11 (they are often announced and first deliveries begin in preceding year).
Or it could be a MY10! :-)
