So, used to have a Le Mans 2010 GT but for the last 4 years I've run a banger focus and it's time for an upgrade! Had an order in for a Focus RS, great car, fantastic drive and noise but Ford mucked me about with the order and there is an ongoing issue with the engines being made of chocolate so order cancelled. Drove an M240i today, very quick but just well...dull. Tomorrow morning testing an M2 hoping it will be more exciting, this is a manual the 240i was an auto...yuk! Then in the afternoon a Nismo 370 at Exeter and I genuinely can't wait. I really want to still love the 370 as it looks amazing, should drive great and it's a darn site cheaper than an M2!

So from reading up I can't see much has changed, anything I should look out for?

I've been looking on the car broker sites and £33k seems to be about the lowest price although there is a pre reg 67 delivery miles one for £31.5k available, not sure if that can be bettered?

Hopefully it will be good to be back!

Hi Phil,

Welcome Back!

Hope the test drive goes well tomorrow.  A few of us have been 1/2 series route.  I went to a 123d coupe from the 350z and always kept looking at Zeds.  Not driven a newer 2 Series - but the Coupe 2 series I suspect isn't a massive difference.

Anyway let us know how it goes.

Current  - 2014 (14) 370z NISMO in Storm White #229, JDM Carbon Nismo Kickplates, JDM Carbon Nismo B Pillars, Nismo Tyre Caps, Nismo Oil Cap, K&N Filters, MY15 Nismo Start Button.  GT-R Dome Lens Covers - LED Lights (Interior, trunk & numberplate) - Demand Engineering Full Valved Custom Exhaust System.

Thanks Les, your right I don't think there's much between the 1 and 2 series even now.

Can't wait to get sat in a Z again, regretted selling mine, residuals look really strong to if you keep them a few years. The Nismo will be a second car if I go for one, used on sunny days!

I had a brief affair with an M235i recently - it bored me to tears after a couple of months. I'd fully intended to hold back from another Z until they release something new, but I just couldn't live without one, so I totally see where you're coming from. They're an excellent price at the moment. The 67 plate seems to be a steal.

Good luck.
