Nice :)

How different does if feel & sound?

My cats are in need of replacement because of rust so I could consider doing something similar...

I assume they don't throw up any errors on the dash?

I would also be interested but main question is will the car pass the MOT with them fitted?

I never had an issue with HFC cats on mine. Always passed.

Car sound OEM but louder and deeper.

Sounds great inside the carbin whilst accelerating from 4000RPM up the the red line

No resonance etc

On the way to the Nissan dealer this morning to make a warranty claim for the drivers seat and the boot not opening after pressing the release button once the engine warning light appeared on the dash.

Only the second time that I have driven the car since getting the HFC fitted, so must be caused by them.

Eventually managed to reset the ECU and clear the engine warning light by using the throttle pressing technique.

Hopefully that will prevent the engine warning light from re-appearing.

However Horsham Developments informed me this morning that I would have to have the ECU reflashed to prevent this from re-occurring.

Will be interested to hear if the reset sorts it.  I know when I reset the ECU with the Wifi ODBII and Dashcmd App - there was an option to do a full reset - which I did by accident and reset the Rediness Monitors - which took about 30 miles to re-learn.

I vowed never to do it close to a MOT - as I understand (perhaps incorrectly) they cannot do the MOT while it is learning.  Let us know if it comes back.  I have read both things on the Net to suggest it clears it, some say it comes back every couple of weeks - and you just keep resetting it.  If it does it you may be best to sort it out, as I know the MOT regulations (a long time away for you) will be a fail on Engine Lights.

Did you buy this one?

https://www.amazon.c... scanner giveet

I used this method to reset the ECU, however may purchase one of the above devices to read any future codes etc

1. Push start button twice to get - Ignition "ON", count to 3.
2. Depress/Release accelerator pedal 5 times - hard and fast.
3. Count to 10 (not 7!) and fully press accelerator pedal
4. Count to 12 (Engine Management light should start flashing), release accelerator pedal.
5. Count to 10, press accelerator pedal.
6. Count to 10, release accelerator pedal.
7. Turn off ignition, then start engine. ECU reset is done!
