Oh my word, what an absolute rip off.  Click on the below thumbnail, profiteering 'ards..

attachicon.giftyre.jpg

Those are for 275's and Les quoted 285.

What does oponeo say?  Also, I've found Tyreleader to be the cheapest recently...

I'm after the 275/35/19 standard rear tyres.

Oponeo says £330.  Camskill £300.  The screenshot was from Tyreleader @ £374..  eTyres, Blackcircles are at similar price points.

These tyres should be around the £220-230 mark..  The availability of these tyres has been really poor, there's a huge premium on them currently.  Won't buy above £250 that's for sure.

The trouble is they seem to have a real cult following with all performance makes.  And we all keep raving about them which makes the situation worse.  Wonder if in a few weeks they will stock back up - perhaps closure for Christmas in both manufacturer and distribution hasn't helped?

I just tried Mytyres - Mps4s tyres for the rear were £389.80 - OMG. When I bought them in March 2018 (10 months ago) they were £235, including fitting.

And today camskill are £233!  Tyreleader £267 (fitted).  Oponeo £284 (fitted).  MyTyres £287 (fitted).

That's a huge drop in price.  If I wait till next week they might be a fiver each!

Some useless information for you - tyres are now £300.15 at camskill.  I've been watching the price closely over the last few day, its gone from £304 to £303 to £301 and now £300.15.

Over the last few days the pound has strengthened against the Euro, so I guess these tyres are sourced directly from Michelin and they are priced in Euros. So if Brexit goes pear shaped expect a bit of a hike in the price of these tyres!  (someone bl****dy had to mention brexit didnt they.. )

I remember the S#it I got on here when I put those on the 350z....  They made the Bridgestones feel good.  They never ran out.  I am sure they grew another layer overnight,

I just had some Vreds (for the 240Z) delivered by Oponeo and they came from the Netherlands (arrived in 2 days).  I had too tight a deadline to watch the price but I'll keep an eye out now as I will need some rears for the '70 soon.

This could be a bit of a bargain for someone, if you're worried about getting a bad puncture or just want a spare to hand.  £35, 6mm left. Slight nibble out of the rim protector, but not structural.
