The answer's yes, because Jakub, a newish member, from the Czech Republic fitted one. Here's the relevant post - http://forums.nissan...ublic/?p=409753

He wasn't asked how he fitted it, but he might tell you if you ask. It may well just be a straight swap.

I would have thought it was a straight swap, as the only thing that changed was the bulge. The rest of the structure remained the same.

I wouldn't do it though. It would be like giving Kylie Minogue a facelift that left her with Bernard Manning's face.

2007 350Z (my second Zed) - You'll get there when you get there, and that'll be fine. It's a better way to travel, and a much nicer way to live.
2011 Yaris 1.33 (my third Yaris) - With an extra 30cc and an extra gear it's become the S-Class of small cars.  Better gearbox though.

But some people like Bernard Manning (not me, I hasten to add).

To be serious, I've grown to like the HR bonnet - and it would give you space on top of the engine to make a bit of cheese on toast.

The shape of the bulge makes sense when you see the bulge on my 240Z bonnet :)

It does make sense, and it does tie it to the original Zeds, and I can't and won't argue with the practical reason for it.  However, I still think the DE bonnet is one of the prettiest bonnets ever sported by a car.  The HR bonnet is just functional by comparison.
