but an easier question, hopefully

do I

a) buy MPSS for the rear, to match the current fronts, or

B) buy MPS4S for the rear (£31 each more), and replace the MPSS on the front, with MPS4S, when they're needed

both MPSS & MPS4S currently available, but I guess MPSS won't be available forever?

opinions welcome

Where did you see MPS4S for the fronts? I thought they weren't available in the UK.

Sorry mate, both currently available for the rear. Didn't look for the front (don't need them for a while)

but, that makes me lean towards a) then?

I reckon you're right. Match all four tyres if you can, and only worry about it if you find they're not available for either the front or rear.

As Chubbs says, the MPS4S isn`t available for the fronts, I`d be inclined to go for MPS4S for the rears and replace the fronts with the MPS4`s when needed.

The MPS4S is supposed to be better than the MPSS in a couple of areas, especially in the wet, there is a you tube video of one of the magazines doing a comparison of those two tyres, I`ll post a link when I find it.

First mod then John :D

Oh I remember another thing I have changed the internal dome light to a GTR type which is clear, and the Start Button....  Let me know how the new Tyres are when they are fitted as now I seem to have stopped the screws entering my tyres I might be tempted next time.

When My tyres are up for replacement I will be going for the following sizes and MPS4S all round.

Fronts 265/35/19

Rears 285/35/19

This setup makes the rears slightly taller than the fronts, which will help with under steer.

If I can get a set of Nismo Rays then I'll likely go 285/35/19 all round as the sports Rays only support upto 275 width tyres.

Current - 2010 370z Black Edition, DeCat, Milltek Exhaust, EcuTek, Custom Horsham Developments SC air 2 air, Reversing Camera, 20mm Eibach Spacers, Braded SS Brake Lines. Plus many more mods. Currently running 551/400
Black Skoda Fabia, too many mods to mention 290BHP now with the son.

Yes! but it wouldnt go under the Nismo! It was very clever, if you happen to have a generator in your van/garage for inflation!
