Hi Guys,

Have decided having test driven one the next toy has to be a Fairlady import. (Just like JDM cars)

has anyone on here got one for sale? pref auto? or can recommend a good dealer north of Sheffield to the borders region.

I am prepared to import myself as this summer I imported a Nissan Elgrand people carrier/camper (which has the 350 engine) but would like to cut the 3 month wait out lol.

Hi & welcome. Presumably you're talking about a 350, not a 370?

Hello and welcome.

I don't know if they're any good as I've not had any dealings with them myself and don't know of anyone who has, but http://www.japanesei...cialists.co.uk/ are on an industrial estate at Sheriff Hutton in the York area.  They usually have a few good-looking JDM cars in though.

To be honest I'd keep looking on Autotrader, as there are usually a few Fairladys on there so at least they're here rather than waiting for them to cross the oceans.  Unless none of them are up to scratch.

Hello and welcome!

Funnily enough there was a Nissan Elgrand parked up at the karting meet. I've never seen one up close before (just on the road) and I was impressed!

Good luck with your search :)

Hmmm... cant see it till monday  wahhhh!

Can anyone point me at a supplier or interior trim replacements. The black plastic section round the auto gear selector/ heater controlsheater control trim.jpg is very chipped ( I know it is a common issue) but looks c..p. I guess I could wrap it if not available.

That looks a bit knocked about, although the black is quite soft, my 2004 has only 2 small marks. apparently halfords do a rubberised paint that can be used, but don't quote me as not needed any (yet lol)

Good luck today. That heater control trim looks terrible. You're right to consider wrapping it, even as a temporary measure, because replacements can be expensive, until a good secondhand one comes along. How about contacting people who are advertising breaking 350's on Ebay?

Edit - https://www.torqen.u...6913-cd000.html- it's OEM, it's for a 2003 and it's £157 - yikes!!! They do another one for 2004+ cars.

It would be worth phoning a Nissan dealer to see what their price is. You might strike it lucky.

Haha - so my 'good luck mate', in an earlier post was a little inappropriate. Good luck on tonight's bidding, mate.

Never give up. There are plenty of good ones out there.

The search for my (second) Zed was nearly as enjoyable as finding and owning it, and I still miss my daily visits to the usual places in search of good and possible ones. :)
