I've had a look at the thread a couple of times today, and the main thing I've thought is that it raises far more questions than it answers.

It reads to me that the car was about a year old and had done about 5,000 miles when one of the rear brakes seized.  That happening then is incredibly odd in my opinion, and far enough away from the date of supply to suggest to me that original manufacturer fault very possibly isn't the case. How has the car been driven?  Has anyone else recently been playing with the brake, or something else drive-related at that side.

I think you were right asking for a full timeline of events, because - as others have commented in that thread - as it reads at present it just doesn't quite add up.  So until there's a bit (or even a lot) more clarification I'm sitting on the fence.

2007 350Z (my second Zed) - You'll get there when you get there, and that'll be fine. It's a better way to travel, and a much nicer way to live.
2011 Yaris 1.33 (my third Yaris) - With an extra 30cc and an extra gear it's become the S-Class of small cars.  Far less pretentious though - good.

Whilst I am skeptical about some or most of the information if the stated mileage increase is correct that is something that I would not let go.

I read it, until I lost the will - but in all honesty the rear end on the Zed isn't that complicated.  So I would take it to another dealer.  The Black box I presume has a Battery Backup - but after a while I presume but do not know that if the main battery is disconnected for some reason it would lose communications?

The first post seems very logical and sensible and then after that..... :fool:

Something to me just doesn't sound right.

Posted 27 Times and 17 on this thread so far. The only other post is a intro in the region and asking how to give the Nismo more power.  I find it strange that I cannot seem to find any other incident on any forum of this happening, and yet when I had the click on the rear axle - sure enough there were a few examples.  If this is not as a result of messing around with the car I would get it taken to specialist independent and find out what is what.  But there is nothing on the rear of the Zed which is going to require a PHd to fix.  Its not trick, doesn't have 4 wheel steer and to be honest - I am confused.

That's very possible, or it might be youth. Either way, it's not really an excuse for the poor approach to the narrative.

Well I finally caught up with it again.  That ended well..   My opinion hasn't changed.

Yes, mine neither.  I strongly suspect he hasn't got a QC on the go yet.  If he has, he must either have plenty of money behind him and/or the solicitor he went to first wanted to wash their hands of it.

I am looking forward to hearing more though, as it's like a murder mystery and we, the audience, haven't seen everything yet.
