Does the window function - drop / close on the buttons when ignition is on?
If it does have you tried re-calibrating it? THis video shows the reset switch on the 350z - slightly easier process on a 370z
ps. Mute the sound. The video is an acquired taste

1. Shut the car door and turn on the ignition.
2. Raise the window to the fully closed position.
3. Press the button to open the window completely and keep the button pressed down for a further 15 seconds.
4. Raise the window to the fully closed position and keep the button pulled up for a further 15 seconds.
You may need to try this a few times before it works.

Is the window on the convertible supposed to drop before entry just like the hardtop does?
I think it is supposed to drop, just like the coupe.
Has your battery been disconnected recently?
Let us know if it works.
