Right 'o' don't shoot me just yet lol,

I've been musing over swapping my daily driver Transit and possibly my 350z for a 3.5 petrol Elgrand, best of both worlds so to speak....... We have 3 kids so need the room.

They also do a 2.5 v6 petrol too???

I've looked at newer diesel Transits etc, don't want another diesel after 20yrs of owning them as they are generally too unreliable and expensive to run now a days... dpf, egrs, 15p/l more for diesel......

Has anyone got any experience of these, especially the auto box, as I did look at a Nissan murano, but it had a yukkie cvt system that can be unreliable.

feel free to kick me lol

Yes, looks like it.

There's a few coming into the uk now and I really fancy one instead of a ford, Vauxhall etc people carrier (don't want a diesel either).  They're a bit different and with the v6 a better soundtrack too B)

heres an example on eblag

Yes they look quite luxurious with a nice smooth engine to match, apparently according to the elgrand forums they are accept lpg conversions well, with no issues or discernible power loss.

Have read due to there lack of aerodynamics they can be quite juicy to run, only between 18-20 mpg, hence the lpg option.

Time to have a test drive or 2 me thinks.

well I had a look on Sunday, I'll reserve judgment until I drive one properly, but my first impression was that they are indeed quite luxurious with electric everything. But externally they look a bit narrow and ungainly.

couldn't drive it being sunday he was closing up, obviously earning plenty to turn a potential sale away lol.
